The attack on Christmas

Note: I have not had internet access the last week and a half. Yes, I know, it’s late.

I’ve been hearing a lot about “The attack on Christmas” recently. Or, rather, I’ve been hearing a lot of people who celebrate Christmas complaining about it and people who don’t denying that there’s a problem.
But seriously, what do we have?

  • A few department stores saying “Happy Holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas”.
  • The Politically Correct crowd following suit.
  • Some stores being forbidden to put up Christmas decorations. (Though still selling Christmas themed products. Go figure.)
  • People complaining.
  • Um.

It’s really not a big deal this year. With the public backlash, most chains are going to handle things better next Christmas, right? I seriously doubt it. Do you know of any stores that experienced major holiday sales drops because of this? It’s just another one of those things to try and phase out another aspect of Christianity from society. It was bound to happen sooner or later, and it’s gonna get much, much worse in the years to come, if you believe what the Bible has to say about the matter.

So, relax! The end is near. 🙂
