It’s official! As official as it ever will be, anyway. The standard RSS feed icon is now the one that Firefox uses. The Internet Explorer team, in a remarkable fit of Common Sense, went and talked to the Mozilla team, in hopes of establishing some consistency between browsers. They agreed on an RSS feed icon.
Well, it’s a start…
Konqueror 3.5 uses a different icon for feeds.
Well, true. So does Opera. What I’m mean is that when the two biggest web browsers around adopt the same convention, it’s amazingly likely to become the standard.
